Hello! I’m Mariah. I'm from Michigan and I moved to Chicago in 2008. My love for animals has brought me to my current place in life. I started Paws In Motion in January 2011. Some of my favorite things to do are going to the park with my pups, gardening, and traveling. I also like to challenge myself with tough projects around the house. Mya, Bo, Banshee and Waylon (my pups) are the loves of my life. Mya (modeling in this pic!) is a super cool 10 y/o Sheppard mix that loves to play BALL! Bo the beagle is almost 14 and he loves TREATS more than anything in the world, Banshee the Chi-wienie is just about 6 y/o and he is the biggest goof ever, and Waylon the pittie puppy is just over year old and is just the silliest pup around! You can find my gang of pups cruising the streets of Pilsen and kicking up sand at the dog beach in the summer.
Supervisor - North
Maria's my name and dog walking is my game! I'm a supervisor here at paws in motion but honestly most of the time I can't even call it a job. Born and raised in Chicago with some time spent overseas, I have experience caring for fur babies all over the world. The love I receive and give on a daily basis has kept me motivated through rain snow and shine!

Hi, I’m Drew. I’m a Southern transplant who married a Chicago girl and moved to the city five years ago. We are proud puppy parents of an 8 year old Husky mix rescue named Buddy and a 2 year old man-cub named Holden (and a second one on the way this fall). I spent nearly a decade cooking in kitchens but left the restaurant business shortly after our son was born and began walking dogs part time while searching for a new career path. I fell in love with the job and have since moved up to a more managerial role with the company. It’s hard to beat a job that allows you to work outside and see the city while spending quality time with Chicago’s finest pups. In the last few months I have also taken on the role of Social Media Administrator for Paws In Motion as well, so give us a like and keep an eye out for your fur baby.

Hello! I'm Giovanny, the proud father of two beautiful Pit Bulls. I am a determined hard worker that loves dogs. I grew-up in the military, and am grateful to have traveled the world. I love to read and learn, and I also love to be outdoors whether it's camping, hiking, or fishing. I have also spent a lot of time helping tend to the needs of different kinds of animals on my grandfather’s farm in Missouri. I'm currently enrolled in college, and studying Theology. I think of myself as a kind, energetic, and goofy guy that’s excited to work with Paws In Motion!

Hi there, I'm John and my favorite part of the job is developing unique relationships with each of my fur-covered clients. I love being outside and getting exercise and making the most of every day. I'm very passionate about dogs and have been a dog walker since 2004. My career has taught me a lot about dog behavior across many breeds and age levels which helps me to better address each dog’s needs. I am also passionate about rescues and currently own a Border Collie rescue named Erin. One of my future goals is to be more involved with placing rescues in their forever homes. When I'm not caring for your pet, I enjoy taking in live music shows, traveling, backyard gardening and cooking.

I have a love for animals that’s out of this world and I treat every animal I see as one of my own! I've lived with dogs and cats since I was a child but never had one to call my own until a few years ago. In the summer of 2016 I met and married my adorable husband, who had 2 Mal-shi dogs named Nani and Kala. These two were sisters and they were just adorable together. Sadly, when we moved to Chicago from Indiana, we had to give Nani and Kala back to the rescue center my husband had gotten them from due to the fact that we would not be able to give them the proper attention they would need. Some of my hobbies include Table-top Role Playing games like Dungeons and Dragons, card games like Magic: The Gathering and almost any kind of board game! I also love playing video games when he has the time. I love spending time with family and friends doing any of the previously mentioned hobbies. I can not wait to spend time with all the doggies and other animals that might need my attention while working for Paws In Motion! Bring on the fur babies!

Hey, I'm Rob. I am an avid outdoors man with a passion for nature and animals of every kind. I am from Chicago and my wife and I currently reside in Wicker Park with two rescue pups. I've been in the animal care business for almost 15 years and growing up, we had every kind of pet you could imagine, so I guess you could say I have a lifetime of experience working with animals. When I'm not caring for your pet, you can find me camping or hiking, getting a new tattoo, enjoying some art or creating some of my own, eating tacos or playing with my own dogs (just to name a few things I enjoy).

Hi, I’m Diarra, Chicago bred. Dog walking is like a dream come true. I’ve always been around cats and dogs they make life a world of joy. Taking care of other people's pets is one of my passions, that's why I’m going to school to be a future Veterinarian. I mostly want to work more with wild life and farm animals so one day I can retire knowing how to take care of all of my animals.

Hey there! Im Rachel and I'm 26 years old. Im a Chicago native, this city will always be in my blood. I currently live with my husband Rob, who is also a dog walker, and our two rescue pups in Wicker Park. My best friends growing up were a dog and a cat, and since then I have never lived without a fur baby by my side! In my downtime I always find joy in drawing, painting, and sculpting, and I always find new creative things to explore. Besides the arts I love being outside surrounded by nature, kayaking, or going on long bike rides. For the past 5 years I've been a licensed hairstylist, but decided to make a career change to work with the furry creatures that I love! You'll find me hanging out by the lake, kayaking the Chicago river, or snuggled at home eating bacon.

Greetings everyone! Adrian is my name and I am so excited to share with you all a little bit about myself! I chose to become a dog walker because if you're a furry animal lover like me, this would be the best job ever and the best part is that it doesn't feel like a job when you love what you do and are passionate about animal care. It truly is the greatest job ever with endless rewards and satisfaction! To see a pups face light up when they see you or when you give them a treat is an amazing feeling and puts a big smile on my face! I am excited everyday (rain or snow) to wake up knowing that I get to spend all day with your dogs and cats, my best friends! I am from a small country town, the sweet corn capital of the world, just two hours south west of Chicago and currently reside in the suburbs of Chicago. I am enthusiastic and excited to make a positive difference in the world! I have always loved animals from a very young age and had just about every kind of animal from hermit crabs to birds. As a young boy, I dreamed of one day becoming a vet and to open animal shelters across the country. Some of my passions include spending time with my two favorite dogs in the world Roth and Asia. Asia is a blue nose pit that I rescued from Zacatecas, Mexico and Roth was adopted from a Wisconsin shelter, is a pit mixed with several other beautiful breeds. They go well together and make the perfect dog couple. They are both loving, sweet pit bulls and are both 3 years old. They make my life complete and are the loves and joys of my life. I love to go hiking, camping and rock climbing, working out at the gym and just about anything that is physically challenging. I love spending time with my friends and family and am a big jokester and love making them laugh. I also love singing, music, dance, art, theater and fashion. I would like to pursue schooling and study fashion design in London. I would create the finest fashions for you and your furry little friends! Yes! this is a dream of mine, but for now, I am honored to walk your furry family all across this beautiful city.

Hey y'all! I moved to Chicago from North Carolina recently. Growing up on a farm I worked with All kinds of animals so taking care of dogs in the city just seemed to make sense. I have three dogs of my own and appreciate the trust it takes to allow someone else to care for them.
