Hello! I’m Mariah. I'm from Michigan and I moved to Chicago in 2008. My love for animals has brought me to my current place in life. I started Paws In Motion in January 2011. Some of my favorite things to do are going to the park with my pups, gardening, and traveling. I also like to challenge myself with tough projects around the house. Mya, Bo, Banshee and Waylon (my pups) are the loves of my life. Mya (modeling in this pic!) is a super cool 10 y/o Sheppard mix that loves to play BALL! Bo the beagle is almost 14 and he loves TREATS more than anything in the world, Banshee the Chi-wienie is just about 6 y/o and he is the biggest goof ever, and Waylon the pittie puppy is just over year old and is just the silliest pup around! You can find my gang of pups cruising the streets of Pilsen and kicking up sand at the dog beach in the summer.

Hi, I’m Drew. I’m a Southern transplant who married a Chicago girl and moved to the city five years ago. We are proud puppy parents of an 8 year old Husky mix rescue named Buddy and a 2 year old man-cub named Holden (and a second one on the way this fall). I spent nearly a decade cooking in kitchens but left the restaurant business shortly after our son was born and began walking dogs part time while searching for a new career path. I fell in love with the job and have since moved up to a more managerial role with the company. It’s hard to beat a job that allows you to work outside and see the city while spending quality time with Chicago’s finest pups. In the last few months I have also taken on the role of Social Media Administrator for Paws In Motion as well, so give us a like and keep an eye out for your fur baby.

Hi there, I'm John and my favorite part of the job is developing unique relationships with each of my fur-covered clients. I love being outside and getting exercise and making the most of every day. I'm very passionate about dogs and have been a dog walker since 2004. My career has taught me a lot about dog behavior across many breeds and age levels which helps me to better address each dog’s needs. I am also passionate about rescues and currently own a Border Collie rescue named Erin. One of my future goals is to be more involved with placing rescues in their forever homes. When I'm not caring for your pet, I enjoy taking in live music shows, traveling, backyard gardening and cooking.

Hi! I’m Maureen and I had a Doberman that recently passed, but I am helping pups by fostering! I also have a fluffy Siberian Forrest Cat. I went to DePaul University where I studied graphic design and photography, which are also my passions! I love taking the best photo of your pup and showing how much fun they have during walks. I love a high energy pup but that doesn't mean I can't cater to a laid back chill doggo. I grew up in the Chicagoland suburbs but I currently live in the west loop. In my free time I collaborate with local artists and love photographing! Can’t wait to meet your pet!

Hi, I’m Diarra, Chicago bred. Dog walking is like a dream come true. I’ve always been around cats and dogs they make life a world of joy. Taking care of other people's pets is one of my passions, that's why I’m going to school to be a future Veterinarian. I mostly want to work more with wild life and farm animals so one day I can retire knowing how to take care of all of my animals.

Hey there! Im Rachel and I'm 26 years old. Im a Chicago native, this city will always be in my blood. I currently live with my husband Rob, who is also a dog walker, and our two rescue pups in Wicker Park. My best friends growing up were a dog and a cat, and since then I have never lived without a fur baby by my side! In my downtime I always find joy in drawing, painting, and sculpting, and I always find new creative things to explore. Besides the arts I love being outside surrounded by nature, kayaking, or going on long bike rides. For the past 5 years I've been a licensed hairstylist, but decided to make a career change to work with the furry creatures that I love! You'll find me hanging out by the lake, kayaking the Chicago river, or snuggled at home eating bacon.

Hey y'all! I moved to Chicago from North Carolina recently. Growing up on a farm I worked with All kinds of animals so taking care of dogs in the city just seemed to make sense. I have three dogs of my own and appreciate the trust it takes to allow someone else to care for them.

Hi!! My name is Jamie & Chicago has been my home my entire life. I grew up with a house full of pets, but I can't imagine life without a dog! Aside from walking dogs I am self-employed doing Independent contract/consulting in the Telecom Industry. I love traveling, the outdoors, art, music, gardening, and finding the next adventure! I am a fur mom to my beautiful 8-year-old Pit bull, Jaya, who is a 2-year cancer survivor! She is the furry love of my life!! I am happy that I can share that love with other pups and furry babies get to hang out with at work.

Hello my name's Vanessa and for the 25 years of my life animals have been my passion. Born and raised in Chicago I've always had animals around me since I could remember, and the first few furry friends I've had were large dogs and one fat cat. Since then my zoo has gained variety with a few who have come and gone, and currently I have 3 cats, 3 betta fish, 2 crested geckos, and 1 syrian hamster. My hobbies range from reading to gaming as well as researching any pet-related concerns I have whether they be for my own fur babies or others in general. I am certified in animal nutrition, animal psychology, and vet tech, so I make sure to use the best and proper handling techniques to make your fur baby's experience as positive and friendly as possible. I do so enjoy being around new fur babies and treating them with the best care as I would my own.

Hello my name is Nancy. I’m a Latina raised in the USA for about 25 years. When I was little, my dream was to be veterinarian. I got my first dog when I was 11 years his name was Bobby. Since then I started my family. Currently where I rent I’m not available to have a dog. Now that I have the opportunity to walk different dogs I found a purpose to come and have fun with all of them. I treat them as if they were mine. I gave them the attention they need when I’m with them. Also I love to see them everyday. ( I miss them when I don’t see them). I hope that your little furbaby enjoys my company as much as I do.

Greetings and salutations! Shannen here, and I’m already excited to meet your fur baby! I started walking dogs since Halloween of 2018 and I always have grand adventures with the doggos! My boyfriend has a pup; Milkshake is her name! And she is just as much my pup and she is his, maybe even more because I give her yummy treats. Hah! Food brings people close and my favorites have to be Filipino and Thai foods. Mom and dad are from there, respectively, and I cannot imagine growing up eating anything else! Because I love eating food so much, I have to balance that with Crossfit. If I’m not working or at home, the box is where I’m at! Crossfitting helps me channel energy to become a better version of myself, not just physically, but mentally most of all. And it’s no surprise that one my aspirations in life is being able to practice physical therapy. Currently, I am working towards becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant at Oakton Community College. Physical therapy has a more hollistic approach than traditional medicine. Helping people get better physically and emotionally is something I look for in life. Walking pups is much more than helping them use free outdoor plumbing. It is an opportunity for the doggos to explore and have an adventure, socialize, exercise and to enrich their overall health and wellness. I look forward to meeting your fur baby and having a meaningful experience with them!
